Where is a copy of the Hosting Agreement?
Our FTP site has a current copy of the Webplus, Inc. Hosting Agreement (to save, right-click the link and select "Save As" from the menu). The document will require Adobe Reader to view.

WE FORWARD YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION TO OUR PARTNERS SO THAT THEY CAN CONTACT YOU REGARDING THEIR SERVICES. IF YOU HAVE FALSE INFORMATION ON YOUR EBAY ACCOUNT THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONTACT YOU AND YOU WONT GET WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR. Will I Have Any Hidden Fees Exposed After I Purchase This Site?
There are NO hidden fees. Final cost will be the ending auction price plus $29.95 for the first month's Online Business Maintenance Fee. From there it will be just $29.95/month with no additional required costs. There will be other costs associated if you decide to utilize our Graphic/Web Design professionals. There will also be additional charges if you want to have the ability to include more than 500 products in your store. Keep in mind that this is US-based, secure, ecommerce hosting with people who speak English to back it up. Don't be fooled by bargain bin hosts. We provide a legitimate online presence.
Why is your monthly fee higher than other sites for sale on Ebay?
If you think the monthly fee is too high we do offer discounts for multiple website purchases and extended subscriptions. Most importantly, we include a lot more than all of the other eBay sellers as you probably read above. We host this site in-house on our servers which are located in South Dakota with guaranteed 99.9% uptime and daily data backups which means that nothing will ever be lost. Most companies on eBay are hosting their sites off shore or with a 3rd party budget host. We are the developers of the shopping cart software that is used for this store (Web+Shop) you can visit our website at www.webplus.com, so when you have a question you come directly to us for an answer. We have been in business since December of 1994 so you can count on us being around when you need assistance. We don't use 3rd party software unlike our competition. When you have a question or problem you can contact us directly or use our online forums instead of waiting for your email to be answered. Getting answers over the phone is much more efficient then trying to explain your problem with an email. We are available Monday - Friday 8-5:00 CST except for holidays. What does established mean?
It means that this website is already setup with a domain name and is currently online. In order for a site to be considered established it has to already be online with a domain name. This does not mean that the site has any sales history of any type.
Do I own the website and the domain?
When you purchase one of our websites, you are now considered a business owner. Congratulations! We will support you and your website while it is being hosted by ourselves or one of our partners. If there is any way that we can assist you please send an email to hosting@webplus.com. At the time that you take over the website we are the owner of the domain name. In order for you to take over ownership of the domain name you will first need to request an Authorization Code from us. Once you have the Authorization Code you will then need to perform a Domain Transfer Request with any company that offers domain name registration. Sorry, but we are not in the domain registration business. We recommend www.godaddy.com or www.networksolutions.com for these services. Transferring of the domain into your name is your responsibility.
What is required to transfer the domain name?
You agree that transfer of the domain name is your responsibility. You agree to take ownership of any domain names associated with your hosting account while your account is paid and in good standing. You agree that all information provided to take ownership of the domain, including but not limited to, Your name, address, phone number, and email address are true and accurate. Newly registered domain names have a 60-day waiting period before they can be transferred. This is not our rule, but a rule set forth by ICANN. Webplus, Inc. allows transfer of domain names to any accredited register. If your domain has been registered for over 60 days, we will gladly help you with the transfer. If your domain name has not yet been registered for the full 60 days, we will give you the authorization code the day it is eligible to be transferred upon your request. If you cancel your account with us before the waiting period is over, we will only allow you to transfer the domain for 30 days after the date the waiting period has ended. All domains which have not had ownership transferred and have had the associated hosting account canceled, either by Your request, because of violation of Webplus, Inc.'s terms of service, or due to non-payment will be considered abandoned and will be retained by Webplus, Inc. You agree to waive all rights to abandoned domains and that there will be no grace period after hosting cancellation to transfer domains unless the situation involves a 60 day waiting period. If you have questions regarding domain transfers please let us know and we will assist you.
Can I change my domain name?
Yes. If you have a registered domain or plan to purchase one, you can change your sites address to that domain/url. All you would have to do is change your domains" nameservers to point to ours, tell us to set it up on our end, change the name in your store admin, and change your sites banners and text to your new name and you"re ready to make some sales.
Where do the 10,000 visitors that you are sending to my site originate?
The 10,000 visitors that we are sending to your new website are generated via expired domain traffic. Please drop us an email for the published prices on additional visitors. You will be contacted by one of our partners regarding other forms of website promotion. They will be happy to answer any questions that you have.
Can I increase the amount of products that I can sell?
Yes. We do have different levels of pricing for those who would like to add more products to their new online store. You are currently allowed to have up to 500 products at the $29.95 Online Business Maintenance Fee. Please contact us at hosting@webplus.com for pricing.
How much is shipping for this website?
There is no shipping cost. This website is already established online and there is nothing to ship you. The only fee associated with this auction is the Monthly Online Business Maintenance Fee of $29.95 which is added to the ending auction price.
What is the difference between PayPal Website Payments Standard and PayPal Website Payments Pro?
Your basic Paypal account has no monthly, start-up, or cancellation fees – and no annual commitment. The Payment Pro or Paypal Business Account requires an application process, and a $20 fee for the extensive services it offers. These services are not applicable or needed for your store. The website payment standard is a secure, quick-start solution that has everything you need to start accepting payments on your website. It takes minutes to get up and running.
How much time will I have to devote to achieve results?
This website has been designed to run very smoothly. Obviously, the more time spent advertising, the more sales you will get. Your first 10,000 prospective customers will be sent automatically. From there you can be creative as to advertising; from search engines to online advertising to printed ads. To get you started, Webplus is proud to offer merchants $25 in Free Advertising through BidVertiser. You can also use your Bidvertiser account if you decide to publish ads on your website. When publishing ads, the more people you get to come to the site the more money you'll make. You simply get paid each time someone clicks on one of the BidVertiser ads. In general, webmasters can improve the rank of their sites by increasing the number of high-quality sites that link to their pages. Can I run this business from a non-US country?
YES! Since the store is completely web-based, you can administer it from anywhere there is a quality web connection....from home, the lake, even other countries! The current supplier ships all items from the US; again, you may sell products from other suppliers in this store if you would wish. How much money can I make? Is the website easy to run?
This website has is very easy to run. The software on the backend requires no programming knowledge and there are over 75 options you can change yourself. Adding/Deleting products is easy so you can freely add products from other sources also if you would like. It usually takes novice users about 45 minutes to get familiar with the software. Downloadable website manuals are provided with the welcome email.
How can I take advantage of BidVertiser advertising services?
If you wish to buy online advertising through BidVertiser, Webplus is proud to offer you $25 in Free Advertising to get you started. If you wish to publish ads, the BidVertiser ads that currently appear on your site will not provide you with any additional income. How do I add Google Analytics to my new website?
In order to take advantage of Google Analytics we recommend that you have a seperate landing page designed which provides a link to your new online store. For an example of how this is done please take a look at http://www.aejewelrydesigns.com. You would place your Google Analytics html code on your landing page. This would provide you with infomation such as what keywords people are using to get to your page, etc. This can be very useful for those who will utilize BidVertiser or other website promotion tools.
How much money can I make?
The potential earnings for this website are unlimited. The more time and effort you are able to put into it, the more you will get out of it. This is a very unique product and not much competition. Can I move this site to a different host?
There is no obligation beyond the first month. The site can be moved to any web host running the Web+Shop software. Please note that if you would choose to change hosts, moving the site would be your responsibility. We will provide a FREE single store Web+Shop license ($369 value) to anyone who would like to install the software on their own server. If you need us to do the installation and initial store setup there is a one time charge of $99.
Are there any special requirements in order to run this website from my computer?
If you are using AOL dialup along with the AOL browser you may have problems with your websites functionality. We recommend a high speed connection if you plan to do business online, however, it is not mandatory.
What is the name of the software that is used for my online store?
Web+Shop is the name of the eCommerce Solution used for your new online store. You can read more about Web+Shop by visiting our website at www.webplus.com.
When I try adding a product, it says "Model number does not exist"? Why is that?
When you are adding products to your store, you might be placing the product number on the wholesaler's page as your product number. This is fine and recommended, but some product numbers from the wholesalers contain commas (,), periods (.), slashes (/), and/or hyphens (-). Only numbers and letters are accepted in the product number box.
Where do I acquire a business license/Tax ID?
For this you will need to contact your local court house. The requirements/fees depend on which state you are doing business.
Do I need to have a business license/Tax ID?
If you want to be a legitimate law abiding business then yes. Webplus, Inc. will not be held responsible for your business practices.
How much of my profits do you take from my sales?
The profits that you generate are all yours and the sky is the limit. We have set your prices at roughly 20% above the wholesale price, but you are the store owner so feel free to adjust them in order to get the profit margins that you are looking for. We DO NOT take any percentage of your online sales.
How do I determine which products are on the front page displayed as "Today's Specials"?
This is totally up to you to decide. The ones that we originally place on the front page are products that have good images and are attractive to the potential customers of your new online business. You may add or remove as many products as you want to the "Today's Specials" area. When you click on the little pencil next to a product in the product tree, there is a box near the bottom of the page that you can check called "On Special". If you would like a product to appear on the front page simply check the box and the image that you have as the thumbnail image will appear on the front page of your online store.
I've tried doing things with my site and now it's a disaster, can you put it back to its original look?
Yes. We can reset your store to its original look and feel in no time at all. Simply request a store reset to hosting@webplus.com. If you would like, we can send you all of the images that we used when setting up your website so that you can make these changes yourself. Just send us a request. Since this is now your business, feel free to change the look and feel of your store as much as you'd like.
I have made changes to my site but when I refresh my page the changes don"t appear. What am I doing wrong?
The good news is that you aren"t doing anything wrong. In 99% of these cases the problem is a browser caching problem. If you are using Internet Explorer click Start, then Control Panel, Internet Options and once there under Temporary Internet Files you need to click “Delete Files”. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, you can do this in an open browser by clicking Tools, Clear Private Data and then only check Cache. Once Cache is checked click “Clear Private Data Now” and your problems should be resolved. If not wait 10 minutes and try again.
I just added a product, but it is not showing up in my store, why is that?
In your Store Administration section, you probably have the “Track Stock”, “Show Stock”, and “Hide Out-of-stock Products” boxes checked. This is a great feature to keep track of your products if you are tracking your own inventory. With your store purchase we provide a wholesaler that will have plenty of inventory for the products they have to offer. We recommend leaving these boxes unchecked as there is no inventory to keep track of on your end, therefore all of your products will show up on your site all of the time.
Will I be notified when someone places an order?
Yes. There is a box that reads "Send New Order Emails" on your "General Store" screen. When you set up your personal information, please make sure that box is checked to receive your email notification. You will also need to be sure that the email address that you have entered on this page is an email address that you check on a regular basis. If you do not wish to use your personal email address for your web business, Webplus does have other email account services you are welcome to take advantage of.
What types of email accounts do you offer?
If you would like to setup an email address for your business such as sales@yourstorename.com please make the request to hosting@webplus.com and we will be happy to setup an email account in that name or establish an email forward that will send any email received by your business email address to your own personal email address. More information about our email hosting can be found on our Merchant Services page. Both the email account and email forwarding is included in our Online Business Maintenance Fee.
Can I have more than one wholesaler?
Yes, and we encourage it. The more products and variety that you can offer, the better. The key is to keep people coming back to your website. You can sell as many products from as many suppliers as you would like as long as you have a way to keep them all organized. Coming up with a good product numbering scheme is a good idea when you are listing products from multiple suppliers.
How can I resize the product images that I get from my wholesaler?
Google's Picasa program (part of Google Pack) is an easy to use solution for graphics management.
